I’m grateful to be with family. I’m grateful for a very rainy spring. I’m grateful for being able to feel things I didn’t before. I’m grateful for bending and not breaking. I’m grateful for what is. I’m grateful to be sober today.
This Week:

This personal musical history is really great!
S.E. Reid writes beautiful essays and devotionals and I thought her meditation for Spring was lovely.
Noted is about notebooks and taking notes. Of course, I’m completely in love. This one on Kurt Cobain’s notebooks was transfixing.
In this short seminar, two authors, Lilly Dancyger and who have published memoirs about addiction will walk writers through some of the pitfalls of addiction narratives (and how to avoid them) and offer exercises and tips to write an addiction story that honors the complexity of the topic, centering compassion without shying away from ugliness.
If you’re interested—-here’s the information— the class starts on Tuesday, April 25th.
