I am so grateful to be sober. I’m grateful for time with my family and for my dad having a nice birthday yesterday. I’m grateful for seeing different parts of the country, memories and the joy of returning home after a trip. I’m grateful to live in New York, for coffee, my Higher Power and for the mountains.
Good morning my friends :)
As always I hope you’ve been enjoying the week and are getting ready for a relaxing weekend!
I am currently experiencing some vertigo which I really hope goes away before we are 10,000 feet in the air in just a few short hours heading home. In meantime, I am watching the sky fill with pink behind the mountains.
Given said vertigo, the rush to get two peoples belongings into a tinyyy carry on and the first sips of coffee that haven’t quiet woken me up yet, I’ve decided to share today not a compelling story of how I’ve stayed sober in Vegas, but my gratitude via a photo montage.
Disclaimer, none of these photos feature my family or Timmy as their anonymity is theirs to break or keep safe, not mine. But I am incredibly grateful for all of the moments shared with them over the past few days!
Of course…we needed to see the Fabulous Las Vegas sign ;)
Beauty creeps in the shadows…
Found ourselves in Ancient Rome!
A nod to our very own T.B.D…We didn’t see any white tigers but the street sign is enough for me.
Story of my life….
Immersed in Vincent Van Gogh!
From the top of the Eiffel Tower!!
And last but certainly not least, the mountains :)
Xx

I'm very glad you had a good trip. I'm sorry you didn't see Siegfried & Roy's white tigers, but there will be a photographic surprise tomorrow. Also, I believe there is only one pirate-themed casino in the world, and it is located in Las Vegas, hoping you managed a visit there...
