I’m grateful for a quiet morning with my coffee on the balcony. I’m grateful for Frosted Flakes and Lucky Charms. I’m grateful for Law and Order episodes in the middle of the night. I’m grateful for faith and trust that this is the right path. I’m grateful for friends. I’m grateful to get to work with sponsees. I’m grateful to be sober today.
There’s quite a bit going on over here today. Of course, there’s Episode 14 of Breakfast with an Alcoholic:
The Liner Notes should be out soon and then it’s time for another new episode of Breakfast with an Alcoholic this weekend. This week’s breakfast is with Joanna, she’s a lawyer coming up on two years back and we had a great conversation.1 In the meantime, I wanted to share a couple of things I’ve been reading. First, you should definitely check out Macrodosing:
Jamee’s writing is fantastic and very personal and compelling and she makes some provocative points.2 I thought this was a great article on on trauma and PTSD and how it lives inside us:

Thanks for Letting Me Share
A lawyer. A litigator even. Have I met my match in the Alcoholic Lightning Round?
Should I mention that she has graciously agreed to appear in the very near future on Breakfast with an Alcoholic?
I am grateful early morning talks with my grandfather. I am grateful for left over filet mignon for breakfast. I am grateful family time . I am grateful for my brothers dinner going so well . I am grateful to have a safety net incase something goes wrong. I am grateful for all the support I have from my family and friends. I am grateful to be able to see who is really there for me and who has a hidden agenda.
The diner background clatter fills in so nicely. I like it!
