I frequently mention the Farmer’s Market at Union Square and there it is! An ideal Saturday morning for me involves embarking on the NYC Ferry1 at 90th Street, heading down to Stuyvesant Cove, walking to Union Square and loading up for the week with things like this:

I find myself educating so many people about the wisdom of taking the ferry. You can cruise the length of the East River and over to Brooklyn and Astoria and even Rockaway Beach. Always Take the Ferry! It’s. Only. Three. Dollars.
