The main thing for me is like, life without alcohol is much better. Why work so hard to “manage” keeping it around? Not worth it! But the good news is, I only have to make decisions for myself, and those folks get to make decisions for themselves! 🤷🏻♀️
Like I said, if people can find a way, then that's all that matters. None of us get very much guidance on how to get out of here, so everyone does the best they can. What I can see now, looking back at my own embraces of alternative treatments, is a tremendous amount of fear. I wasn't yet willing to believe there was a life I could live without drinking. Things changed when what I believed changed.
