I hear so many amazing things at AA meetings—I try to write the really good ones down, but it’s hard to keep track of them all. I’d love to hear the things that you heard that really moved you or made you laugh or was just one of those amazingly profound things that people just seem to casually throw off at meetings! So share something you heard at an AA meeting but remember that personal anonymity is the foundation of the program!
One night at 79th Street, I heard a woman say, "I found the power to stop drinking, and I called that God."
Heard yesterday:
First thing in the morning I say “good morning God”.
When I was drinking I’d say “good God it’s morning”
