SATURDAY GRATITUDE ROUND-UP
|The Extravaganza: Books and Writing Edition | When You Hold on Too Tight | How it Works: Self-Honesty | Working With Others | The Gift of Gratitude | Powerlessness and Waiting for the Right Pitch |
I’m grateful for a pretty exciting week. I’m grateful for a quiet morning and the gray skies. I’m grateful for seeing not all of the signs are meant for me. I’m grateful to know I have a place. I’m grateful for not knowing what happens next. I’m grateful to be sober today.
Happy Saturday. I’m sorry for the semi-apocalyptic warning/reminder last week about Father’s Day. IT IS TOMORROW. I have been trying, without a huge amount of success, to brand the Saturday before Father’s Day as “Father’s Day Eve.” When I text my children, “happy fathers day eve!” I will either get the question mark back or the more direct, “there is no such thing.” Every dream seems improbable at the start. So, I wish you a Happy Father’s Day Eve.
